Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa
Syspro, an international software development company specialising in enterprise resource planning solutions,
commissioned Hesse Kleinloog to redesign the customer-facing areas of their Johannesburg headquarters, with a specific focus on their training facilities.
The solution involved a bold play on colour, with each respective training room being individually treated with a single,
intense hue that was uniformly applied to floor, wall and ceiling surfaces, furnishings, decor elements and contemporary artwork.
From deep crimson to luminous ochre and vivid cobalt, each suite was charged with its own expressive character.
The rich, inviting mood of these interiors was further amplified by their juxtaposition with shared external spaces such as the reception area and washrooms,
which were purposefully rendered in as neutral a palette as possible.
This dramatic chromatic contrast results in a dialogue between active and passive space that serves to both invigorate and soothe the senses.
“The new look and ambience is right on the nail for the type of company that we aspire to be. It was a pleasure to work with your team.”
- Phil Duff, CEO.
